Free Consultation

Again, welcome to the website of Scott M. McPherson, P.A., which I have published so that you can learn more about my staff and me. Within this site, you will find extensive information about the types of cases we handle, as well as the reasons that we are highly qualified to handle your case.

Of course, by now you have probably seen that almost any personal injury attorney offers a “free consultation,” and that certainly is true with us as well. However, I want to go into more detail so that you will understand more about this offer I am making.

First, when you have an initial consultation with me, “free” does not only mean “free,” it also means zero pressure from me to select us as your firm. By the time we are done with the consultation, my primary goal is that I have given you the best legal opinions possible, and also have educated you about the issues inherent in your specific case. However, I completely understand that talking with an attorney after an automobile accident (or other negligence claim) can be very unsettling for many people. Many people are quick to tell me: “I’m not the type of person to sue, and I hate even having to get an attorney, but I just don’t know what to do at this point.” My reaction: “Please relax, you have nothing to feel badly about. We are just going to talk about your case, and I understand that you did not ask for any of this. There is no pressure here.”

Most consultations are done here in my office in New Port Richey, Florida. You can learn more about my the historic office building itself, as well as it’s location, by going to the about us page.

If it is not convenient for you to come to my office, then I am happy to travel anywhere in the Tampa Bay area and come to you. Apart from visiting clients in the Pasco County – New Port Richey – Trinity area, I also travel frequently to Brooksville, Spring Hill, Tarpon Springs, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Tampa, Land O’ Lakes, Dade City, Zephyrhills, and “New Tampa” (i.e. Lutz, Wesley Chapel, etc.) to name a few cities.

If it is not convenient for us to meet in person, then a telephone conference can easily be arranged at a mutually convenient time. Rest assured that I treat telephone consultations like “in office” appointments, so you will not be rushed.

Finally, please be assured that if you do elect to have me represent you in your case, then not only is the consultation free, but you will never pay me or my firm a penny unless we win a financial settlement or verdict for you. Additionally, any attorney fee or cost after we win is not due until after the successful result.
