Our Philosophy
I thought I would include a page in this site about my philosophy for handing cases, and my thoughts on how clients should be treated.
First, as everyone has seen, there is lawyer advertising everywhere. Some of these law firms have dozens of lawyers, and offices throughout the State of Florida (and even out-of-state, as well). A large law firm with many offices makes it very possible that a client will never see or meet the attorney seen on the home page of the website or TV ad.
I believe that clients should have access directly to the lawyer in the advertisement, or on the internet site, and that in fact that lawyer should represent the client (as opposed to junior associates handling everything). It is this belief that has caused me to keep my law firm small. Personally, I have to have my hands on all files in this office, or I do not feel comfortable. A client's case is too important to assign to a paralegal or junior associate.
A second thing I strongly believe is that in order to provide excellent service to clients, all members of my team must be the BEST. I have an excellent support staff of legal secretaries. The way you keep the best around you is by being fair to them, which I have done. Three of my employees have been here longer than ten years. By keeping the best of the best around me, I can feel comfortable that tasks will be accomplished in a timely manner.
Finally, I believe clients have the right to be kept well informed of their case. For this reason, I do something very unique. All new clients not only have my office number, but they get my personal cellular number as well. That was, if I am out of the office at court, I can check my messages frequently, even after hours. We strive to keep every client informed at all times.
My office has been decorated to have a very warm feel to it, to make you, the client, feel comfortable. The thing that clients comment on frequently is how accommodating we are to them, and how we go out of our way to make them feel comfortable and important. That is our goal.
